Some general milestones.

These are the approximate ages when your child will start to develop new skills.


Newborn                    Fixes on objects 20 cm away
                                    Primitive reflex grasp

6-12 weeks                Follows moving person with eyes
           
2-3 months                 Loses primitive reflex grasp
           
2-4 months                 Holds hands together
           
2½-5 months              Reaches for rattle
                                    Starts to look at own hands
           
5½-10 months           Passes object from hand to hand
           
1-2 years                    Scribbles
           
1½-3 years                 Draws straight line
           
2-3½ years                 Copies circles
           
2½-5 years                 Copies crosses
                                     Can draw a person
